Who we are
J.S.MATTHEWS LANDSCAPES LTD was founded by Jack Matthews, a garden lover from the West Midlands
Jack found his love for gardening when he was just a toddler, and this was due to his late Grandfather. His grandfather loved his garden, he would always be in the garden doing something, and as Jack grew up he stared to help him, and the seed was sown.
As jack grew into his later childhood and teen years his love for gardening just kept growing and growing, while most kids his age were on the xbox, he was either helping his grandfather with his garden or doing his parents garden, and by the time he reached the end of secondary school he already knew what he wanted to do, own his own gardening business. He went and got a Level 3 diploma in horticulture to give him a bit more knowledge, but when he turned seventeen he felt like he had all the knowledge, capability, ambition and love to start out by himself, so he did. It was not easy for him for the first couple of years, but he kept going and managed to establish his business, and he still absolutely loves it.
The business thrives within the domestic and commercial worlds providing garden maintenance and landscaping services to home owners and commercial customers alike.

“I love gardening, it is as simple as that, I just absolutely love it. It’s in my blood, I could not imagine my life without it, its who I am and has been since I can remember. After realising this love when I was only young I always had a vision of owning my own business, and so when I was 17 I turned my favourite hobby into a career and it is one of the best things I have ever done. Follow happiness, not money, follow your dreams and believe me it will work out as long as you keep going and never give up”
